The discharge curve of lithium ion battery shows that the voltage drops rapidly at the beginning of discharge, but it is stable at 3.9~3.7 V. However, once the voltage drops to 3.7V, the voltage drop speed will increase. Improper control will lead to excessive discharge, at least damage the battery, or cause accidents when the voltage is too low. If you do not pay attention to the protection of the battery and often discharge excessively, the service life of the battery will be greatly shortened. Take the UAV for example, it can monitor the battery usage from the flightgoapp in real time. By default, when the remaining battery power is less than 30%, a low battery alarm will be triggered. When the remaining battery power is too low, the flightgoapp will pop up a serious low battery power alarm, and the aircraft will automatically enter the return point and land at the return point to ensure battery performance and flight safety.
1. Use special charger
2. The outer package of battery is an important structure to prevent battery explosion, liquid leakage and fire. Be careful when handling batteries
3. The battery cannot be fully charged and stored for a long time, otherwise the battery may expand during use
4. The battery should be stored in a cool environment. When the battery is stored for a long time, it is better to put it into a sealed bag or a sealed explosion-proof box. The recommended ambient temperature is 10~25 ℃, dry and free of corrosive gas
5. When installing the battery on the UAV, ensure that the battery compartment cover is fastened to prevent the battery compartment cover from loosening and falling off during flight, resulting in damage to the battery enclosure and accidents. Short circuit will directly lead to battery ignition or fire explosion
6. During the transportation of the battery, the battery shall not be put together with the key and other metal objects. The best way is to put each battery in a separate self sealing bag and put it in an explosion-proof box to prevent short circuit caused by collision during transportation
7. Recharge after the flight mission is determined. If there is no flight mission within 3 days after the battery is used, please discharge and save it. If the take battery is not used within two months, the battery should be charged and discharged once, and then continue to be stored to maintain the battery's activity and extend its service life
8. Do not use it at 0C, otherwise it may cause irreversible damage to the battery. Quickly install batteries and perform flight missions before takeoff. Shorten flight time. When the ambient temperature is low, the service time of the battery may be shortened dramatically. Try to shorten the flight time to half of the normal temperature to ensure flight safety. Low temperature weather often occurs in the north or high altitude areas. If the battery is kept at low temperature for a long time, the discharge performance will be greatly reduced. At this time, it is impossible to control according to the flight requirements under normal temperature. Before taking off, the battery shall be stored in a warm environment, such as indoor, vehicle, incubator, etc. Please preheat the battery to above 5C, and then install it on the aircraft. It is better to preheat it to above 20 ℃. Keep rechargeable batteries and chargers in a safe place. The take charger uses Qualcomm QC3.0 fast charging technology, which can be used with the supported power adapter to achieve fast charging. QC3.0 In the fast charging state, the charging state indicator flashes green. If you do not use a matching power adapter, you may not be able to achieve the effect of fast charging, and you can only charge slowly. In the slow charging state, the charging state indicator is orange and flashing.
